It's Not Easy Being Green

I spent my lunch break today, from an exciting new job, in yet another awesome tea spot.  Dado Tea + Coffee is in Central Square, Cambridge.  The organic food was great [I had a hefty salad and a side of egg salad- because flatulence is not of importance to me], and the entire place was saturated in the most warm and beautiful sunlight.  It was much needed.  As was a lunch date with myself.

I sat at a table in the window until I became sweaty.
And then I sat there some more.

Customers formed a line around the front counter, and young tea servers smiled and treated everyone nicely.  Quite a positive change from the snappy baristas at Starbucks, or routinely disgruntled DD employees.
View from my table.

The only thing that took the smile from my face was this:
Sure, it's right next to the trash.  That's about the same.

I thought this was crazy.  Then I turned around and saw the look on a woman's face after I took a picture of the thing.  Which led me to believe that she most likely thought I was crazy.  I quickly pushed the cup, with my elbow, into the bin with other plastics and left.

Do your part, chump.

We're far from perfect.
But we don't need to live like piggies.
