When I think of accomplishing great things, I light up. If there were a somewhat unrealistic visible indication that a person was happy, and not just a smile, what would yours be? I imagine myself wrapped in twinkly lights. Idk, man. But some of my pals are my lights...
I found a lot of people to learn from in Boston.
They are making strides to become successful in ways that I couldn't have even imagined.
I know a girl called Brittany.
She moved here from Florida last year to start a new life.
[She is the one person in my circle right now that relates to a similar decision that I made just over three years ago.]
We have quickly become great Boston friends, thanks to our kindred spirits.
Britt is finding herself here. It is the hardest, most rewarding journey there is. I seek, and repeatedly find, lovely thoughts and advice from her on the reg, son.
Sam.
She saves me from myself.
And never reminds me that she has to.
She is unbelievably beautiful, selfless... and heroic.
Sam is Vegetarian, studies Economics, and KNOWS great things because she takes the time to LEARN them. She is an actress in Providence.
This woman is my inspiration, my strength, my blood, and my World.
I probably wouldn't have found the guts to love myself without her.
I have a friend named Steve.
He works in film and is so, so talented.
Steve uses colorful words and is one of the most genuinely giving people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. This kid is a balloon. He will bring you up, up, up in spirit, and is so damn interesting.
He loves his friends, and is visibly excited about their stories as he speaks profoundly highly of them. light, light, Light!
There's this chick named Michele.
She's kinda my mountain.

She's kinda my mountain.
I love her with every fiber of my being.
Michele is currently embarked on a cross-country road trip in her '84 Volkswagen Van before returning home to teach Pre-School. As of now, she is in Florida. Keep in mind that she started this journey here, in the North East.
This trip has been a dream of hers for years, and she's finally doing it! What an amazing opportunity. She lives each day with a childlike enthusiasm, as well as wisdom that I am lucky enough to have shared with me. Soul mate and true best friend.
Awwww.
So, this is Danielle.
My cousin moved to Colorado.
We are a month apart in age, and I miss her more than I realized I could have.
She is probably the most brilliant person I know. She is intelligent in ways that some of us can only read of. Hey, she should go back to school and be a Scientist.
Just sayin.
Biiiiigler.
My friend Ryan is the truest thing I know.
I can honestly say that I have never met a more genuinely good-hearted,
and innocent person here.
[Don't be offended, he's just that good.]
He's in Grad School at Northeastern to teach kids!
That's right, ladies.
Little Miss Baker
This girl is my heart.
Kristin is an amazing woman. She is a Social Worker, Cancer Survivor, friend... and I think she can fly, too.
I think.
My cousin Jen is a comedienne.
She lives in Florida. She likes to torture herself with sentimental music and is an extremely talented writer. We like to laugh together. It's kind of our thing.
Oh, hi Jen. Write something. Now.
There are heaps and heaps of more brightly lit bulbs that shine my path. If I didn't name you, it's only because I am already late for something and had to cut this post short. There is NO shortage however, of influential and loving people in my life.
I'm pretty effing lucky.
Thank you all so much.
with love, love, love.
