Adventures in Calling In Sick

Today is a bad Crohn's Day, so I had someone cover my shift at Cantina.  [I have some reliable friends.]  But after the initial sigh of relief, I quickly realized how boring my 'restful' day would be.  I'm sure that now I'd probably just end up watching a 4 hour block of 30 Rock, stuffing my face with rice cakes, and end up asleep for the duration of the afternoon-.  It's crappy outside and I feel like garbage.

In a perfect World, I'd do whatever I wanted to on my sick day.  Here is just a short list of the imagined possibilities.

One of my dreams is to soar in one of these suckers.
Yeah, I could do that.
Did you know that it's possible in Boston?!

Oh, do you also enjoy delicious, slushy treats? Come by.  I'll whip something up for you with my Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine.

I should probably do some quick research at my future place of employment.  It would only be polite to give the staff a heads-up with a quick meet and greet with the someday new, on-site Zoo Vet.
Oh, I'll get there.

Shopping Spree.
A new, 4-Story Sanctuary was just added to Newbury St.
Hot damn, it'd be nice not to be broke once in a while...

I really need to be a better friend.  I've blown Justin off like 3 times since December...
Should probably set something up with him.  Could fit it in today, I think.
We love sandwich dates.

I like thinking that everything has feelings.
thanks, fredflare.
Today, my belongings will come to life.

I guess it'd be cool to redo my room.  A few hours could probably transform it from a young boy's space to a 26 year old woman's love den.
And by Love Den, I of course mean a prettier place to catch cookie crumbs and used tissues.

Now I'm just super bored and jealous of my fictional day.
I should have gone to work.
